Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars must apply for admission to the Ï㽶ÊÓƵcampus of their choice by its published application deadline for the fall semester following their senior year of high school. Remember to apply to ensure your Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars Award is in good standing by following the links below to the University of your choice.

October: filing period opens October 1
November-December: Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars recognition events for outstanding academic achievements of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars
class of 2026.
February: University of Alaska Foundation scholarships application deadline is February 15
August: Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars must apply for admission to the Ï㽶ÊÓƵcampus of their choice by August 15
May 1: Designation Portal Opens - Access details will be emailed to the authorized representative for your school. Each high school is responsible for academically ranking its students to determine which students are in the top 10 percent at the end of their junior year. Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) is the most common criteria used to rank students. The high school may consider other appropriate academic factors as long as the high school applies and communicates those factors uniformly and fairly to its students.
September 15: Deadline to Designate Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars - Qualified high schools must submit their Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars designation list to the Program.
November-December: Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholar recognition events for outstanding academic achievements of the Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars class of 2026 will be held, check back for more details. Encourage Ï㽶ÊÓƵScholars to attend and consider attending to show support.
