Alaska SBDC offers free 'Starting a Business' class, June 24 in Anchorage

The Alaska Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will offer a free "Starting a Business' class on June 24. This is an in person workshop on and participants are recommended to register early, as seating is limited.
�㽶��ƵFederal Relations team listening sessions on FY26 budget continued

In an effort to gather as much information as possible on impacts of the FY 26 budget request, the �㽶��ƵFederal Relations Team will continue holding listening sessions next week on the budget request for NASA and the Department of Education (ED).
Summer newsletter schedule adjusted for July and August

The employee newsletter will follow a modified summer schedule in July and August, with editions publishing on the second and fourth Fridays. The regular schedule resumes in September.

Since 2017, the University of Alaska Southeast has offered the Alaska Dive Semester, a hands-on training program in scientific diving. Graduates gain certifications and field experience essential for work in fisheries, marine research and environmental monitoring. These fields are vital to Alaska’s economy and communities.
