University of Alaska Giving Day 2025 - Find Your Reason to Give
Alaska - Mark your calendars for the exciting 49-hour University of Alaska (UA) Giving Day event starting at noon on March 25 and ending at 1 p.m. on March 27. Join us at givingday.alaska.edu to make a difference.
For 49 hours, alumni, donors, and friends can support their favorite Ï㽶ÊÓƵstudents, programs, and research areas and participate in challenges, share in the camaraderie, and make an impact.
Highlighted Priorities
- University of Alaska Anchorage: Advancing student success through the Annual Fund for Excellence.
- University of Alaska Fairbanks: Helping launch the groundbreaking Troth Yeddha' Indigenous Studies Center, transforming education in Alaska.
- University of Alaska Southeast: Supporting mental health initiatives through the "Why I Stay" program, creating spaces for healing and connection.
- Ï㽶ÊÓƵGeneral Scholarship: Opening doors and making education accessible across Alaska.
Nearly 200 donors have pledged , allowing donations to be doubled or even tripled.
A few lucky participants will win exciting prizes:
- Participants can enter to win a roundtrip Alaska Airlines ticket voucher by making a public post on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or the Ï㽶ÊÓƵGiving Day website using the hashtag #49HoursForAlaska, through March 27 at 1 p.m. Each post counts as a separate entry to win.
- Pop-up events will happen throughout the 49-hours in which donors will have a chance to win mini-grants ranging from $200-$2,000 to designate to their favorite Ï㽶ÊÓƵProgram or scholarship.
All Ï㽶ÊÓƵsupporters are encouraged to register on the Ï㽶ÊÓƵGiving Day website to become , amplifying their impact by joining early. Champions play a crucial role in spreading the word, inviting others to donate, and raising awareness about their favorite programs and student needs.
