Meyers was named the William A. Egan Alaskan of the Year in October 2004 by the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce, and he was selected as a "Top 25 Most Powerful Alaskans" by the Alaska Journal of Commerce in 2002, 2003 and 2004; and WHEREAS, Kevin O.
